Public Health Leadership Forum: The Role of Public Health in Health Reform

Sponsored by the PHLS, NLN, and PHLI, this joint session will be at the NACCHO 2009 Conference in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, July 30th 10:45 AM – 12:15 PM.

The session will explore what roles public health professional can play individually and collectively to managing and leading changes that will shape the new public helath at the local and national level.

Featuring speakers include: Dr. Judy Monroe, Indiana State Health Comissioner, & Donna Brown, NACCHO’s Government Affairs Counsel and Senior Advisor for Public Affairs.

Panelists also include Lillian Shirley, Multnomah County Health Department and Bryan Alsip, San Antonio Metropolitan Health District.
